Boiler room scams
Share scams are often run from 'boiler rooms' where fraudsters cold-call investors offering them worthless, overpriced or even non-existent shares. While they promise high returns, those who invest usually end up losing their money.
You may also receive a call from someone offering to buy your shares in Bellway p.l.c., or other companies in which you are a shareholder, usually at a higher price than their market value. This might sound like a great deal, but will likely come with a request for money up front as a bond or other form of security, which the scammers say they will pay back if the sale does not go ahead. This is probably an advance fee scam - where you pay money but never hear from them again.

Diversity
A STATEMENT BY H.C. DAWE, CHAIRMAN OF BELLWAY p.l.c. ON LORD DAVIES' REPORT INTO WOMEN ON BOARDS
DIVERSITY - WOMEN ON BOARDS
With reference to Lord Davies' report dated February 2011, entitled "Women on Boards" and the first recommendation requesting that all Chairmen of FTSE 350 companies provide comment, Bellway would like to confirm that appointments to the Board will always be made on merit against objective criteria and this will continue to be the priority. Notwithstanding this, the Board strongly supports the principle of boardroom diversity, of which gender is one element.
Bellway has a good record of recruiting, supporting and promoting women through the organisation into senior roles, based on their ability and performance.
H. C. DAWE
Chairman
On behalf of the Board of Bellway p.l.c.
